Machine Learning Scholarship Program for Professionals by Udacity and AWS

Udacity and AWS (Amazon Web Services) have partnered to provide Machine Learning Scholarships to working professionals. Enrolment for the program began on May 19th and will close on 31st July.?
The joint venture will provide an opportunity for developers who are 18 years old or above to advance their machine learning skills and expertise that are in demand by businesses requiring AI applications.
The program will occur in two phases?Foundations Course and Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree program.
As per a report in Business Insider, Gabriel Dalporto, CEO of Udacity, said, ?A major reason behind the increasing uptake of such niche courses among the modern-age learners has to do with the growing relevance of technology across all spheres the world over. In its wake, many high-value job roles are coming up that require a person to possess immense technical proficiency and knowledge in order to assume them. And machine learning is one of the key components of the ongoing AI revolution driving digital transformation worldwide.?
He also added, ?our Machine Learning ENgineer Nanodegree program is one of the most popular courses on the Udacity platform.?
In the AWS Machine Learning Foundations course, participants will learn efficiency in object-oriented programming, AWS AI Services, AWS DeepRacer, AWS DeepLens and AWS DeepComposer. Learners will have to invest about 3?5 hours per week for the Foundations Course for about 2.5 months. A certificate will be provided to the participants after the completion of the Foundations course.
Participants will take an online assessment quiz post completion of the foundational course. The top 325 scorers will earn a scholarship for Udacity?s Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree program, where they will gain practical experience in advanced machine learning techniques and algorithms. Scholarship recipients will have to invest 10 hours per week during the Nanodegree program for 2 months.
An AWS lab environment with an AWS account is mandatory for the foundational course as well as the Nanodegree program. AWS Free Tier services can be used to complete exercises. One can register for the program at Udacity?s website.?
